- The heroine is Maggie Bradford who shoots her first husband, an army officer who abused her, and gets away with it. Maggie becomes a singer and songwriter, her fame grows and she falls in love with a soccer star. They marry, it's a big event and everything goes well until Maggie kills him for abusing her daughter.
